- TO ANYONE!,
-
- I just bought a used GVP A1230 Accelerator, Up 'til now I had an
- MBX1200z with FPU, clock and 4M fast memory. Now I've got 5M fast,
- which doesn't interfere with the PCMCIA (Squirrel) which >4M would
- have on the MBX BUT I don't have a clock any longer(nor an FPU..sob.).
- The machine is much quicker now and I believe I can fix the FPU issue
- by purchasng a PLCC FPU adn popping it in the free FPU socket, BUT
- How do I gt a battery operated clock into the A1200 ? Since I rely
- on dates for MAKE etc. this is critical.
-
- Is there an inexpensive add on that won't conflict with the now
- occupied expansion slot ?, Is there a hardware hack ?
-
- Also, in the meantime the amiga boots and the time is from the last
- time I used the MBX clock, something got datestamped then, Since then
- Ive set and save current time with prefs/time, and setclock save
- but something that should be updated isn't.What needs to be touched
- so that at least my Amy boots with time > last boot. Any Ideas ?
-
- Thanks in advance for any help.
